How many manufacturing and production techniques do you know about oil seals?

At present, the manufacturing and production technology of oil seals is developing towards full automation, semi automation, and efficient energy conservation. In the near future, I will be able to see the entry of oil seals (sealing rings) into a fully automated production path

Today, let’s take a look at what are the six widely used oil seal manufacturing processes and equipment?

1. Mixing of oil seal (sealing ring) production process: In foreign countries, this oil seal production process has widely used internal mixers to manufacture rubber materials. Automatic weighing and mixing, automatic feeding, automatic welding and mixing, and rubber discharge, with high production efficiency and good rubber quality.

2. Semi finished product manufacturing of oil seal production process: Precision preforming machine is a commonly used semi-finished product manufacturing machinery in foreign countries. Its characteristics are precise weight of semi-finished products, regular geometric switches, high production efficiency, saving rubber materials, high product qualification rate, and it is also a necessary means to effectively achieve high-temperature rapid molding and vulcanization process. Some domestic sealing ring and oil seal manufacturers have also introduced this equipment, but most oil seal manufacturers still use cutting machines and manual cutting of semi-finished products.

3. Efficient vulcanization process and equipment for oil seal production: The development of oil seal vulcanization process and equipment mainly involves high temperature (180 to 200 ℃ or higher), which can be vulcanized in a short period of time (1 to 2 minutes). For this reason, fully automatic vacuum vulcanization machines and injection machines are widely used, making each operating unit mechanized and automated, shortening operation time, improving equipment utilization and labor productivity.

4. Surface treatment of the skeleton in the production process of oil seals (sealing rings): Generally, fully automatic phosphating treatment is used, which can be strictly controlled during the process.

5. New structural mold for oil seal production process: a tearing edge mold commonly used abroad. The mold is installed on the template and can automatically start the mold. The product is automatically demolded, and the adhesive edge can be removed by hand.
